NOT EMOTIONAL AT ALL. NOPE.
I bought Aeyde’s Anabella sandals last week.
My head: You have absolutely no reason whatsoever to buy heels during a pandemic.
My heart: You haven’t bought shoes in a while. Net a Porter is having a huge sale. These are a step towards reclaiming your old self. Why wouldn’t you buy them?
What can we truly justify buying rn? What makes sense to own long term AND proves useful in our current situation?
SLIP DRESSES. 100% justifiable. Zero regrets. No letting it go.
LET’S DO IT
The Godmother of Slip Dresses: Nili Lotan

Nili Lotan is known for slip dresses. A celeb favorite, these 100% silk dresses come in various necklines, lengths, and colors. You can setup sale alerts for them on apps like Lyst and Shopstyle. Found some for 60% off in limited sizes because they sell out fast.
The Halter Version: Aritzia Babaton Lato Dress

This combines two past beloved trends: nineties slip dresses and early aughts halters. I personally love the pistachio color. Less adventurous? It comes in navy too.
The Convertible: Free People Day to Night Slip

Love, love, love this $68 Free People version that you can wear long or short. Comes in 6 colors.
